~ Monette and Hywel ~

I met Monette and Hywel back in July. Monette was yet another referral from Michelle Fields (one of our former brides).

Monette and Hywel is such a fun-loving laid back couple. I knew their Wedding was going to be something special. And let me tell you, IT WAS!!!!!

Here's a sneak peak of Monette and Hywels' Wedding - It was a gorgeous warm day in San Fernando Valley.

Hywel and Monette had their Catholic Ceremony at St. Euphrasia Catholic Church in Granada Hills, and the Reception afterward at The Hilton in Woodland Hills. Monette and Hywel choose burnt orange and brown as their Wedding colors. It blended perfectly with their fall theme!!

All of their gorgeous stationary by Nida Taylor of Nida's Boutiq

The guess book was also by Nida Taylor

There were many gorgeous flowers, and let me say they it all came together in these Uber Cute arrangements!!! All floral and linens were provided by Joji Oliveros of Arts et Fleur.

We had the pleasure of working with Andre Taylor of Andre Taylor Photography and Marco Polo of A Picture Forever for video

Y . M . C . A .

Both Avis and I agreed that this was possibly the most fun Wedding in Morningdawns' history! Monette and Hywels' guests had a great time. Jason Jones of Elegant Event Entertainment kept all of the guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night!!

THRILLER

This had to have been one of the highlights of the night, the DJ Played Michael Jacksons' Thriller the guests all held each other by the waist, formed a line, left the dance floor, danced in, out and around the tables, then out of the ballroom down the lobby, back in the ballroom and onto the dance floor again!

Can you tell who the ring-leader was??

JUMP-AROUND!! Jump up, Jump up and GET DOWN!!!

!!!Jump-around and get down they did!!!

Congratulations Monette and Hywel all the best to you two.

It was our pleasure to be part of your special day. We had a blast!!

Happy Halloween!!!

My friend Sonia at Dreams Come True Parties asked me to team up with her to host a "Neon, Halloween, Birthday" Party for 14 yr old Rachel!!
This party was awesome, about 50 teenagers attended!

There was so much to do - From the haunted house, to a make up station with masks, neon hair spray or hair attachments, Glo necklaces and bracelets. A DJ spinning music in the Groovy Lounge area!!!
There definitely was no time to sit around!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Elaine in June. Elaine was a guest at Michelle and Jhewels' Wedding! Elaine is so easy-going, I knew nothing would damper her spirits on her big day! And it didn't!! The couple choose Black and Red with Silver accents as their Wedding colors!!

Elaine and Alvin were married on a gorgeous un-usually HOT day in October - That's Southern California weather for ya!!
